On August 25 to 28, the final competition of the 3rd National Graduate Contest on Smart-City Technology and Creative Design was held in Peking University, whose theme was" Leveraging the city by wisdom " .

     This competition attracted more than 1,500 teams from 179 colleges and universities. After the intense preliminary judging online, 168 teams reached the final, including 44 teams of Intelligent Technology Challenge and 124 teams of Creative Design Competition.Seven postgraduate teams from our school participated in the competition. Three of them reached the final. Thanks to their excellent results, they won first prize in cross-camera pedestrian tracking task, third prize in face detection and recognition task, second prize in creative design, excellent instructor and excellent organization award.

     The National Graduate Contest on Smart-City Technology and Creative Design hosted by the China Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Development Center, China Science Association Youth Technology Center and etc, and it is one of the "series of the activities of national graduate innovation and practice". Its vision is “innovation Inspires wisdom, and innovations drive development”. Its theme is city wisdom, and its aim is to inspire graduate innovation awareness and improve their innovation capability.
