On June 20, academic lecture of AU organized by the School of Automation Science and Engineering was held on the sixth floor conference room of Building 3.The topic of this lecture was adaptive estimation, control and application based on the information of parameter error. Professor Jing Na was invited to this issue as the major guest.
In this lecture,Professor Jing explained that he and his collaborators have established an adaptive parameter estimation and new control method based on parameter estimation error, which can realize the rapid estimation of time-varying parameters (converge exponentially or in afinite time). If it is applied to adaptive control, it will realize the parameter estimation and control target. And the method that continuous excitation condition is necessary for the convergence of the parameters is presented. Prof. Jing introduced the latest research results he has made in adaptive estimation and control direction, and described its application in adaptive control of robotic systems, vehicle system parameter estimation, car engine modeling, optimal control and other related areas.
At the end of the lecture, Professor Jing answered the questions from the audience, and said that he also did some research in the current field, hoping to get better results. Through this lecture, the students had a deeper understanding of the relevant areas of research, and learned more knowledge.
