On the morning of December 1st,2015,a lecture entitled “Research Progress about Technology of Fault Tolerance and Fault Tolerance Synergic Control and it’s Application in Unmanned Aircraft and Mobile Robots or Car and Surface Ship”was held successfully on the sixth floor conference room of Building 3.The lecture was chaired by Professor Hai-Long Pei,assistant dean of School of Automation Science and Engineering.And it was given by Professor You-Ming Zhang.

Before the lecture, Professor Pei gave us a brief introduction about Professor Zhang,who is tenured professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and Concordia Aviation Design and Innovation Institute in Concordia University.He is creative talent of”Hundred of people plan” and now is special professor in Xi’an University of Technology in “Hundred of people plan” of Shanxi province.He is a internationally renowned scholars in the filed of fault diagnosis and fault tolerance control and unmanned aircraft.On the lecture,Professional Zhang showed us the new research progress about technology of fault tolerance and fault tolerance synergic control and it’s application in unmanned aircraft and mobile robots or car and surface ship in detail.Firstly,Professor Zhang showed us what is unmanned system by a set of pictures and video,which include unmanned aircraft ,mobile robots and surface ship.And told us the newest development in the application fields.Finally,Professor Zhang introduced us his team and laboratory and showed us some research findings in their lab.

After the lecture,teachers and students discussed on some problem.This lecture has expanded ours academic view and stimulated ours interests of academic research at the same time.
