On the morning of November 6th, 2015, a lecture entitled “Reinforcement Learning for Resilient Control in Cooperative and Adversarial Multi-agent Networks:CPS Applications in Microgrid and Human-Robot Interactions” was held in Building 3. Prof. Yuanqing Li, the Dean of School of Automation Science and Engineering, hosted the lecture. Prof. F. L. Lewis, professor in the Department of electrical engineering University of Texas at Arlington America, was invited as the guest speaker. Before the lecture, Prof. Li gave a brief introduction to Prof. F. L. Lewis. During the lecture, firstly, Prof. Lewis introduced us the interaction among several dynamic agents, how to develop team goals according to the optimal principle, and how to achieve a unified idea from the optimal control and adaptive control through the principle of using cognitive to reinforce study. Secondly, he showed us how to solve the problem of the tracking of the best leaders - followers through the principle of reinforce study to use real-time measured data online. Finally, he introduced us the application of CPS(cyber physical systems) in the interaction among micro power grid, humans and robots.
The lecture attracted a lot of audience. We believe that the students have learned a lot from this excellent speech given by Prof. Lewis.
