On the afternoon of April 24th, 2015, a lecture entitled “Ground-state Stabilization of Quantum Systems by Dissipation” was held successfully on Building 3. We invited Yu Pan, who is a researcher of ARC(Australian Research Council) Centres of Excellence, to give us the lecture.
Firstly, Mr. Pan introduced the cutting-edge research status of quantum engineering and control theory, all-optical circuit and quantum information processing. Besides, he showed some important methods in improving the robustness and scalability in quantum control system. What’s more, he provided a measure to converge to desired state system. After that, Mr. Pan expatiated on the Lyapunov stability analysis method of open quantum system to the audiences. After the lecture, Mr. Pan answered some questions from the teachers and the students.
