On the afternoon of April 4, 2005, a lecture entitled “The application of X-ray detection in electronics, semiconductor technology” was held successfully on the sixth floor conference room of Building 3. The lecture was given by Jun Liu who is the chairman of UNICOMP technology co., LTD. The lecture was chaired by Hong-Xia Gao, the Assistant Dean of School of Automation Science and Engineering. Professor Qian Huang and Professor Yue-Ming Hu also attended the lecture.
During the lecture, Mr. Liu focused on two points: Industrial and Entrepreneurship. Firstly, he shared the difficulties and struggle during his entrepreneurship stage. After that, heexpatiated on X-ray detection in electronics, semiconductor technology, which was the core technology of his company. Besides, he introduced some applications of X-ray detection technology in different fields such as medical, security, positioning, etc. What’s more, for the phenomenon that X-ray is harmful to people, he introduced some safety protections to the audiences.
Through the lecture, our students not only learnt the principle and applications of X-ray detection technology, but also learnt the method of interaction with others from Mr. Liu.
