The first session of graduates from electrical and computer engineering （ECE）international program me were conferred master of engineering degree on June 26 at South China University of Technology (SCUT). The students came from several countries, including Ghana, Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc.
With the support from Graduate School, Foreign Affairs Department, and College of International Education, SCUT, the College of Automation Science and Engineering organized the ECE master programme since 2011. All the courses in ECE have been taught in English by either professors from famous oversea universities or local professors. The course study was combined with practical projects to cultivate specialists in signal processing and computer engineering.
In the oral defense held on June 9, Yao Yeboah from Ghana and Foez Ahmed from Bangladesh exhibited excellent research results. They two were awarded Excellent Graduates.
