Biography
Dr. Qiliang Du received the B. Eng. and PhD degrees, in automation and control theory and engineering in South China University of Technology in 2003 and 2008, respectively. He worked as a postdoctor from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, he joined the College of Automation Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology, as an Assistant research fellow. His research interests include micro robot, embedded system and machine vision. He has published more than 10 papers in journals and conferences.
Research Interests
Dr. Du's expertise areas are micro robot, embedded system and machine vision. In particular, his current research works focus on:
1.PZT-driven miniature robot
2.Special-purpose robot
3.Object recognition and tracking under unstructured environment
4.Visual servo control for planar moving robot
