Biography
XU Yuge received the Ph.D. degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering from the South China University of Technology in 2006. She joined the same university in 2006 where she is currently an associate professor in the College of Automation Science and Engineering. Her current research interests include system modeling and analysis, intelligent control and optimization, etc. She has been a key member of several research projects, including those supported by the National Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, as well as the Scientific and Technological Projects of Guangdong Province and Guangzhou. She has also published more than twenty research papers in top journals and international conferences, where 8 have been included into the 3 major indexes, and 12 in the Core Periodicals of China.
Research Interests
Prof Xu's expertise areas are intelligent control and pattern recognition techniques. In particular, Her current research works focus on:
1.Elevator group control system
2.Wastewater treatment system modeling and control
