Yizhi, Feng received the Ph. D degree from SunYet-SenUniversity in 2007. He is now an associate professor of Electronics and Information Engineering, South China University of Technology. He was a visiting professor with the Université de Nantes from January to February, 2010.

His main research areas are in the areas of wireless communications technology, as well as swarm intelligence technology, with a particular focus on simultaneous information and power transfer, MC-CDMA cellular system radio resource management, wireless heterogeneous networks cooperative communications power management. He holds 3 granted patents and more than 10 filed patents. He has published more than 15 peer-reviewed conference and journal papers.

Prof. Feng was a technical program committee (TPC) member and session chair of the 11th IEEE international conference on communications systems (IEEE ICCS 2008). He currently serves as a reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Communications Letters, IET Communications, and other several journals. He is also serving as a reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation project application.
