The research interests of our group are highly interdisciplinary, including synthetic chemistry, polymer chemistry, polymer physics, electrochemistry and material science. Our research focuses on design, synthesis, characterization and processing of organic/polymeric materials for energy conversion and energy storage applications. The purpose of our research is to explore the structure-property relationship in order to establish designing principle for new materials. 


Currently, three research areas are conducted in our group:


1. Conjugated materials for organic electronics


2. Solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) and polymer–ceramic composite electrolytes for lithium batteries

3. Self-assembly of block copolymers and giant molecules for lithographic techniques
