Wei Zhu earned his Ph.D. in chemistry from Tsinghua University in 2014, and is currently a full professor in School of Biology and Biological Engineering at South China University of Technology. His research interests focus on nanoporous materials (mesoporous silica, metal‐organic frameworks, etc.), biological & nanomaterial interfaces, biosilicification, and their related biomedical applications, including biosensing, biopreservation, and nanomedicine.
Qi Lei earned her Ph.D. in polymer chemistry and physics at Wuhan University in 2017 and is currently a postdoctoral fellow in School of Biology and Biological Engineering at South China University of Technology. Her research interests focus on stimuli‐responsive drug and gene delivery systems using functional peptides.
