To consolidate the achievements of the discipline education learning month and promote the inheritance of family traditions and integrity culture, on the afternoon of October 26, 2023, the Party Committee of the School of Microelectronics organized all Party members among the teaching staff and some non-Party member faculty to visit the Guangzhou Patriotic Education Base—Yu Yin Shan Fang, a site dedicated to family traditions, ethics, and integrity culture. This event provided a rare opportunity for all Party members among the teaching staff to gain further insights into Chinese traditional culture and ethical integrity, strengthening their education on integrity culture.

A delegation from the School of Microelectronics, led by the Vice Dean and Secretary of the Faculty Party Branch, Li Bin, delved into the essence of Lingnan family traditions and integrity culture. A group of 20 individuals visited the themed exhibition on family traditions, ethics, and integrity culture at Yu Yin Shan Fang, representing the Wus' family, vividly showcasing the exemplary Chinese traditional family virtues of self-discipline, family harmony, governance, and peace for the world. The exhibition emphasized the importance of integrity, loyalty, and filial piety in passing down virtues through generations and cultivating virtues in the community. Party members of the faculty earnestly listened to the guide's explanations and carefully read the exhibition content. As they read through various family traditions and observed artworks depicting themes of integrity, each participant's spirit underwent purification and elevation, further inspiring their faith and practice in upholding integrity and passing down loyalty and filial piety.

At the Family Culture School, all participants watched a microfilm titled Pure Breeze, a short film about integrity culture, and listened to a heartwarming story about passing down family traditions and ethics. Subsequently, the delegation from the school explored the four main buildings of Yu Yin Shan Fang and actively participated in various family culture learning activities, such as initiation ceremonies, deepening their understanding of the profound Lingnan family traditions. During the visit, Party members of the faculty expressed their appreciation for the cultural heritage of Yu Yin Shan Fang, gaining a deeper understanding of family traditions, ethics, and integrity culture. This visit was not only a cultural journey but also an intellectual journey, providing faculty Party members with more spiritual nourishment and igniting greater enthusiasm for their work.

The Party Committee and the Faculty Party Branch of the School of Microelectronics will take this visit as an opportunity to uphold the spirit of family traditions, ethics, and integrity culture at Yu Yin Shan Fang. They will continue to drive Party member education, aiming to continually enhance the ideological cultivation of Party members. All Party members will integrate the knowledge and values acquired into their daily work and lives, actively practicing the core principles of integrity, loyalty, and filial piety, contributing more to the sustained development of the school through practical actions.
