Christopher Leslie, a two-time Fulbright recipient, is teaching at SCUT this year. He earned his MA and PhD from the City University of New York and has taught at John Jay College, Hunter College, University of Potsdam (Germany), and Polytechnic University (which is now part of New York University known as the Tandon School of Engineering). At NYU, he helped establish an undergraduate major in the interdisciplinary field called Science and Technology Studies, which combines insights from the humanities with the study of science and engineering. Prof. Leslie is also the chair of the International Federation of Information Processing’s working group on the history of computing.
