On the afternoon of January 7th, Professor Huang Zhonglian, Ph.D. supervisor of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, visited my school and gave a special lecture on the project application of National Social Science Fund, providing targeted guidance to my teachers. Professor Wu Jianguo, vice dean in charge of scientific research, and more than 20 teachers attended the special lecture. The lecture was presided over by Professor Wu Jianguo.

Professor Huang Zhonglian made a speech

Professor Huang zhonglian summarized and shared his experience on the topic selection of the project based on his experience in project application and academic research over the years. He stressed that the topic should be combined with theory and application, and we should learn to explore functions from the structure, so as to sublimate the theme. He also mentioned that if you want to be innovative in topic selection, you should learn to combine new things and new policies with your own research. Professor Huang took a number of national social science fund projects as examples to explain how to select topics and how to choose a good topic. He suggested that everyone be good at digging out research goals and research directions from national policies and government work reports, and carefully condensing the selection of topics.

The lecture entered the on-site exchange stage, and all the participating teachers actively asked questions. Professor Huang zhonglian listened carefully to the questions raised by the teachers, and gave pertinent opinions and suggestions one by one. All the teachers attending the meeting said that they benefited a lot from Professor Huang's guidance.

The special lecture guidance for the application of National Social Science Fund project guides the direction for the teachers to choose the topic, and at the same time provides valuable application experience.
