The 9th sports meeting of School of Foreign Languages was held in the playground of the West Strict on Oct 21, 2010. All teams from every class participated in the games. Wonderful performances won sustained applause from the platform and cheer from the audience. Party Secretary Li Liangcheng announced the official opening of the games. After one athlete and one referee on behalf of all athletes and referees taking oath, the meeting started. During the whole meeting, what impressed the people most was the male high jump. Liu shaomin, a junior major in Japanese, challenged his record again and again. His sports spirit of pursuing higher achievements won the respect of the audience. Besides, the 4×100 relay drew attention from both the teachers and students’ attendance.

    Through the competition, the teachers and students become closer. Finally, English class 0802 got No 1 for three consecutive years. This meeting is hosted by Union Youth League of School of Foreign Languages, undertaken by the physical department. It aims to provide an opportunity for students to improve physical fitness and self-value. What’s more, the meeting carried forward the spirit of Asian Games.
