In order to actively promote the reform of undergraduate international education and teaching, with the approval of SCUT, the school decided to conduct a second selection of the Grade 2019 of environmental engineering (3 plus 2 Chinese-Australian classes). Students will apply for it voluntarily, and the school will organize an interview. Students will be admitted according to their strong will and English ability. The specific arrangements are as follows:

(1) The majors and number of candidates: 9 Grade 2019 undergraduates from all majors of the school.

(2) Registration and examination arrangements

a. Students download and fill out the South China University of Technology Environmental Engineering 3 plus 2 Sino-Australian transfer application form (Annex 1) to the Study Commissioner of the class before 17:00 on October 7.

b. The Study Commissioner send the application forms to Mrs. Liu Hong in Office B4-209 before 9:00 a.m. on October 8.

c. The school will organize a selection interview on October 8 at 10:30 a.m.

d. The results of the selection will be announced on October 8-10.

e. After publicizing without objection, the college will inform the students of the final selection results themselves, and the final list will be submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs.

f. The Office of Academic Affairs reviews the final list and adjusts the student's enrollment status to the Sino-Australian class.

(3) Enrollment status management of the students who are selected into the environmental engineering (3 plus 2 Sino-Australian class) 

a. According to the regulations for the Major Transfer of Full-time Undergraduate Student of South China University of Technology, students who have been selected for the Grade 2019 of environmental engineering (3 plus 2 Chinese-Australian classes) are considered to have a major transfer experience.

b. Students selected will be transferred from their original majors to the environmental engineering (3 plus 2 Chinese-Australian classes) and will be managed in accordance with the regulations of the 3 plus 2 China-Australia Class management of South China University of Technology.
