Gong Shengjie, a member of the Communist Party of China, was nominated for the second prize of the Guangdong Division of the National Undergraduate Mathematical Modeling Contest and the special prize of the American Undergraduate Mathematical Modeling Contest. He once served as the head of the academic department of the Student Union of the School of Telecommunications, and was elected as the exemplary individual in the undergraduate student work of the School of Electronics and Information.  Received the National Scholarship and the Huiding Technology Scholarship Special Prize. At present, I have been admitted to Professor Huang Shuangping's research group at the School of Telecommunications for recommendation.Gong Shengjie achieved a weighted average score of 95 in the first six semesters of college. When asked about his college learning experience, his answer was to pay attention to time planning.Gong Shengjie roughly divides the study period into three stages, namely the early stage of the semester, one month before the exam week, and one week before the exam week.

Gong said that he enjoys the feeling of discovering, researching, and solving problems, so he can find joy in the process of scientific research.Although the research path of deep learning is not easy and the competition in the industry is extremely fierce, he still decided to continue his research. By chance, during his sophomore year, Gong learned about Professor Huang Shuangping's research group and also met his future graduate supervisor. This seemingly accidental experience confirms the truth that 'opportunities are always reserved for those who are prepared'.Gong Shengjie suggested to his younger students that they should plan their future path as soon as possible and clarify whether they want to graduate with a bachelor's degree and find a job, or pursue a master's degree or take the civil service exam. Different plans will have varying degrees of impact on your future practical actions.

In addition to studying, Gong Shengjie actively engages in student work, cultivates interests and hobbies, and is committed to comprehensive development. Gong Shengjie once served as the head of the Academic Department of the Student Union at the School of Telecommunications. At a recent exchange meeting between new and old students, Gong shared his valuable learning experience with his fellow students.He said that working in clubs and student unions was a valuable experience for him.
