On the morning of December 15, 2021, Shuxin Ji, President of Guangzhou GCI Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (GCI Tech) visited our school with his delegation. Dean Quan Xue, Secretary Jian Zhang, Professor Qingxin Chu, Professor Wenquan Che etc. expressed their welcome and they discussed together in the conference room 632 of the Hongsheng Building.
Secretary Jian Zhang welcomed the visit of President Shuxin Ji and his delegation.He briefly introduced the overall development of our schooland said that the school attaches great importance to the industry-university-research cooperation with enterprises,especially a good cooperative relationship with leading enterprises in the information industry such as GCI Tech.GCI Tech is a leading company in the communications industry, and our school is very willing to enhance cooperation with GCI Tech and move forward together.
After that, Dean Quan Xue introduced the development context of our school, the current scientific research situation, and the research direction of each team of our school.He said that the school and GCI Tech have a good foundation for cooperation, and the school has also sent many outstanding alumni to GCI Tech, including Mi Dong, Wenming Shen to GCI Tech.
Shuxin Ji said that the existing cooperation foundation between our school and GCI Tech is very great.He hopes to communicate with our school more and develop together in terms of establishing long-term contacts with the school about student internships, fresh graduate recruitment and scientific research cooperation.Deputy Chief Engineer Zhibin Wu introduced the specific situation and business direction of GCI Tech.
Then, Professor Wenquan Che introduced the relevant situation of the Guangdong Key Laboratory of Millimeter Wave and Terahertz. Two parties then started a round of discussions on scientific research cooperation, and they visited the laboratory together afterwards.
