Doctoral Student Won the Special Prize of the Fund in SCUT

Recently, our university issued the Notice on the Announcement of the Evaluation Results of the Innovation Fund for Excellent Doctoral Dissertations in the Spring of 2018. Xu Jinxu, a doctoral student of our college, is the one in three who won the special prize of the fund in our university.

The Innovation Fund for Excellent Doctoral Dissertations is set up by SCUT to strengthen the cultivation of innovative consciousness and ability of doctoral students, to guide them to choose frontier, innovative and pioneering research topics, carry out high-level scientific research, to promote the quality of doctoral dissertations, and to improve the quality of doctoral students’ cultivation. Applicants should have the ability and quality to engage in high-level scientific research who have a good foundation for preliminary work in this field, and have outstanding academic achievements. In addition, they must have published high-level papers in authoritative bachelor's journals or participated in major engineering projects and achieved important results (awards, patents, etc.). The maximum funding period of the the Fund is one year. The funding standards are 800 yuan per month, 1800 yuan per month and 2500 yuan per month. Special grants can be obtained for major innovative achievements. whose funding standards are 5000 yuan per month.
