Human Data Science Engineering Research Center of Guangdong Province

Human Data Science Engineering Research Center of Guangdong Province is devoted to the research and development of theories, methods, devices and systems of human data science.The main tasks of the engineering center include data acquisition, processing, analysis and application of human data that are related to human health and safety monitoring,as well as knowledge transfer and industrialization.It presents interdisciplinary work of signal processing, communications, biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence and other fields.

According to the national policies, such as ‘Healthy China’ and ‘Smart Manufacturing 2025’, the center in recent years has put forward a basic frame and theory of human data science, that is ’ Stimulation system - sensing system - analysis system - response system,which focuses the key scientific issues of smart sense and knowledge. The center obtains a number of achievements in the soft sensing and wearable electronics, monitoring of patients with diabetic complications , diagnosis and treatment of mental illness based on smart VR technologies.
