On April 24^th, 2012, a team from Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA) visited our school, including the President of MSRA Dr. Xiaowen Hong, Principal Research Scientist Dr. Yongguang Zhang, Senior Research Scientist Dr. Feng Wu, Senior Research Scientist Dr. Qiang Huo, Senior Research Connections Manager Dr. Tianshun Yang, Senior Research Connections Manager Ms. Xin Ma and Research Connections Manager Dr. Guobin Wu. The secretary of community party, Mr. Jiandong Cai, warmly welcomed them. The seminar was attended by Professor and Vice Dean Qianhua He, Professor and Vice Dean Xiangmin Xu, Vice Director of Engineering Research Center from Ministry of Education “Short-Range wireless communications and networks” Ms Wenfei Nie, Professor Lianwen Jin and some faculty members from our university. Both sides have held deep discussions on further research collaboration and joint student cultivation. President of MSRA Dr. Xiaowen Hong and other researchers have also visited the lab of Professor Lianwen Jin, watched live demos and listened to the presentation of recent research progress.
