The Computer Teaching Experiment Center is equipped with software engineering laboratory, computer hardware system laboratory, embedded system laboratory, and computer network and security laboratory, with a total practical area of 1491m2. Since 2006, the center has updated and purchased 5614 instruments and equipment, with a total value of 30.28411 million yuan. In the past five years (since 2011), the total value of newly added equipment has reached 17.8039 million yuan, and the vast majority of instruments and equipment are in good condition.

  The center mainly undertakes the experimental teaching work of professional basic courses and professional field courses in four majors of the college. In addition, the laboratory is open to the outside world according to the system, mainly including hosting the ACM Asia Regional Competition, ACM competition training, Guangdong Province Guangdong Embedded University Cup software design competition, recruitment and computer testing, etc.
