During December 8th to 10th, 2023, the 5th Annual Meeting of Chinese American Society of Nanomedicine and Nanobiotechnology sponsoredby Chinese American Society of Nanomedicine and Nanobiotechnology (CASNN) and organizedby South China University of Technology and Zhejiang University, was held at Guangzhou,China. With the theme Convergency for Life, the meeting aimed topromote interdisciplinary integration and advance the development of thebiomedical field, ultimately serving the health of the people.

President of South China University ofTechnology, Zhang Liqun attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.Vice President Xu Yong, Academician Yan Xiyun from the Institute of Biophysicsof Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician Zhao Yuliang from the NationalCenter for Nanoscience and Technology, Academician Chen Xuesi from theChangchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of Chinese Academy of Sciences,Academician Ma Guanghui from the Institute of Process Engineering of ChineseAcademy of Sciences, and Academician Chen Chunying from the National Center forNanoscience and Technology were also in attendance. Additionally, nearly athousand experts and representatives from the fields of nanomedicine andnanobiotechnology from China, the United States, Singapore, and the UnitedKingdom participated in the meeting. Professor Wang Jun from South ChinaUniversity of Technology and Professor Gu Zhen from Zhejiang University servedas co-chairs of the meeting and presided over the opening ceremony.

During the meeting's presentation sessions,five academicians delivered reports in the fields of biomedical polymericmaterials, nanoenzymes, nanomaterial toxicity effects, nanoscale particlevaccine adjuvants, and protein corona characteristics and regulation innanomedicine.

The meeting featured a total of 120 keynotepresentations, 161 invited presentations, 103 oral presentations, 35 flashpresentations, and 84 poster presentations.
