1st International Symposium on Autonomous Systems Held Successfully


During June 5 to June 6, 1st International Symposium on Autonomous Systems was hosted by the laboratory, Guangdong Engineering Research Center of Unmanned Aerial Systems,Control and found the and Technology Journal editorial office, in South China University of Technology.

    There were nearly 50 attendees, coming from well-known universities and research institutions of United States, France, Greece, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macao and mainland China. Based on The theories and technologies of autonomous systems”, the experts and scholars discussed about the applications and technologies including theories and methods of autonomous behaviors, unmanned systems design, environmental perception and navigation positioning, collaborative multi-agent distributed systems, reinforcement learning and intelligent control, wireless sensor network (WSN), robot systems control.

    There were 4 invited professors giving the plenary talks, including academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) Hongxin Wu, foreign academician of CAS Anders Lindquist, professor Miroslav Krstic from University of California, San Diego, university of thessaloniki, professor Antonis-Ioannis G. Vardulakis from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Other experts gave speeches to share with their research achievements, new ideas, new hot spots, exchange experience, and summarized development directions and cooperation prospects.
