AU Lecture - Automatic Disturbance Rejection Control Theory, Technology and Development

time: 2017-12-27

On December 26, the academic lecture of AU organized by the School of Automation Science and Engineering was held on the sixth floor conference room of Building 3. The topic of this lecture was Automatic Disturbance Rejection Control Theory, Technology and Development. Prof. Gao Zhiqiang, the director of the Cleveland State University Advanced Control Center, was invited as the major guest. The lecture was chaired by Prof. Yu Zhuliang.

Before the lecture, Prof. Yu gave a brief introduction to Prof. Gao. First of all, Prof. Gao introduced the research background and present status of ADRC. Then he made a detailed introduction aimed at ADRC control algorithms and applications, including automatic disturbance rejection control parameters tuning method. In the past decade, ADRC technology has developed rapidly as an important control idea and method. It was an important tool for automated practice, and was expected to replace the PID Control in industrial production.

The audiences showed great interest and we believed that they could benefit a lot through this lecture and stimulate enthusiasm for scientific research.
