On December 17, the academic lecture of AU organized by the School of Automation Science and Engineering was held on the sixth floor conference room of Building 3. The topic of this lecture was Probabilistic Multi - view Multi - label Learning Based on Variational Reasoning. Prof. Sun Shiliang, from the department of Computer of East China Normal University, was invited as the major guest. The lecture was chaired by Prof. Yu Zhuliang. 

   Before the lecture, Prof. Yu gave a brief introduction to Prof. Sun. First of all, Prof. Sun introduced a representative approach to multi-view learning. Then he described the specific research progress about multi-view multi-label classification, including current classic method and Bernoulli mixed model. Finally, Prof. Sun compared the performance of various related methods with specific experimental results.

   The audiences showed great interest and we believed that they could benefit a lot through this lecture and stimulate enthusiasm for scientific research.
