1、Bachelor Degree: Admission and Teaching 
Students applying to the bachelor programmes are selected on the basis of the university admission test( gao kao in China) to be passed with a high score and high school diploma (Gaozhong Biye Zhengshu) passed with at least 80% as final score
Major: All offered Architecture programmes 
Duration: Full-time five years
Stages:
First Stage( in China): One year. Teaching at the stage will be carried out by the School of Architecture of SCUT on the bases of a program established by the two universities. English as a foreign language is to be considered one of the key subjects at/during the stage.
Second stage( in Italy): Three years (180ECTS). On completion of the first stage, the students will transfer to Politecnico di Torino( Italy) and go on with their studies for the first year on a specific study program taught in English and in parallel an intensive Italian language course offered by Politecnico di Torino( Italy)at the same time. A check of Italian language proficiency after the first year of study at Politecnico di Torino will be required to all students participating at the program. For the second and third year the students will follow the major courses in Italian. All the teaching at this stage is carried out by Politecnico di Torino’ teachers. Students can be eligible to get the Bachelor degree from Politecnico di Torino if they satisfy all the related requirements of Bachelor programme at Politecnico di Torino( Italy) after three years of study.
Certificate:
In order to obtain the Bachelor Degree at Politecnico di Torino, students will need to accumulate the required 180ECTS credita and defend their final project( in Italian or in English)
After having obtained the Bachelor Degree at Politecnico di Torino, students can be eligible to get the Bachelor Degree from South China University of Technology after return the School of Architecture of SCUT and finish the remaining courses and thesis defence as required by SCUT
2、Master of Science Degree: Admission and Teaching
Students applying to the Master of Science programmes(Laurea Specialistica) are selected on the basis of their enrolment in the corresponding Master Programme at SCUT, during the first year of the Master of Science at the SCUT., and on the basis of the proficiency in the English language.
Major: All offered Architecture and ICTprogrammes
Duration: Full-time three years
Stages:
First Stage (in China): One year. Teaching at the stage will be carried out by the School of Architecture of SCUT on the bases of the local programme. English and Italian as foreign languages are to be considered very important at/during the stage. If the courses at Politecnico di Torino chosen by the students are taught in Italian, students must be proficient in Italian at the time they start courses in Italy.
Second stage( in Italy): Two years (120ECTS). On completion of the first stage, the students will transfer to Politecnico di Torino( Italy) and go on with their studies programme in English (if courses are taught in Italian, they go on with their studies programme in Italian). In parallel an intensive Italian language course will be offered by Politecnico di Torino( Italy), all the teaching at this stage is carried out by Politecnico di Torino’ teachers.
Certificate:
In order to obtain the Master of Science Degree at Politecnico di Torino, students will need to accumulate the required 120ECTS credits and defend their final project( in Italian or in English)
After having obtained the MSc at Politecnico di Torino, students can be eligible to get the Master Degree from South China University of Technology only when they satisfy all the related requirements of Master programme at SCUT
3、PhD programmes: admission and teaching
Students applying to the PhD programmes (Programmi di Dottorato) are selected on the basis of their enrolment in the corresponding PhD Programme at SCUT. In special case a selection process based on the academic performance of the candidates and their proficiency in the English language can be carried out. The candidate selection will be performed by jury in every PhD schools only the basis of documents describing and assessing student profile.
Major: All Architecture and ICTprogrammes, tutoring in English
Duration: Full-time approximately four years
Number of students: 5 for each year
Stages:
First Stage (in China): approximately two years. Teaching at the stage will be carried out by teachers of the School of Architecture, SCUT for a total of approximately 30/40 ECTS on the bases of the local programme. English as foreign languages is to be considered an important subject at the stage.
Second stage (in Italy): Two years. On completion of the first stage, the students will transfer to Politecnico di Torino( Italy) in order to complete the preparation of their thesis and follow in parallel courses for a total of 20 ECTS.
Certificate:
In order to obtain the PhD Degree at Politecnico di Torino, students will need to accumulate the required 20 ECTS credits and defend their final thesis(in English)
After having obtained the PhD Degree at Politecnico di Torino, students can be eligible to get the PhD Degree from South China University of Technology only when they return to SCUT for thesis defence and satisfy all the related requirements of PhD programme at SCUT
Supervisors from SCUT should follow up closely the thesis reaearch and writing process of their students when the students are studying in Politecnico di Torino.
