On the afternoon Nov.30, the Second Plenary Session of the eleventh Standing Committee People's Congress of Guangdong Province at its thirtieth session was held in Guanghzou. The meeting resolved that removed Songhai as vice-governor and appointed LIU Zhigeng, XU Ruisheng as vice-governor of Guangdong province.
So far, LIU Zhigeng and XU Ruisheng are the youngest freshman among 8 vice-governors of Guangdong province. Especially both of them have doctor’ degree and alumni of School of Architecture XU Ruisheng achieved doctor’ degree of science. According the announcement of the network of provincial government, XU Ruisheng is in charge of education, sport, tourism, archives, and local chronicles.
