Laying some earth under the cornerstone The group photo on the foundation-laying ceremony
On the afternoon of Nov. 17th, the foundation-laying ceremonies of Liwu Architecture Building (reconstructed from Building 27) were held before Building 27. Chairperson DU Xiaoming, the vice presidents of SCUT including PENG Xinyi, PENG Shuolong and DANG Zhi, former leaders PANG Zheng and LIU Shudao, and Prof. HE Jingtang, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Dean of School of Architecture, alumni CAI Jianzhong, the chairman of Pacific Textiles Limited and his wife LUO Aimei attended the foundation-laying ceremony of Liwu Architecture Building. And PENG Xinyi hosted the ceremony and introduced the design and construction of the building.
After the ceremonies, the leaders and guests laid some earth under the cornerstones.
