Reunion of Both People and Moon—— the Mid-Autumn party of School of Architecture, SCUT, 2011

On Chinese traditional Mid-Autumn festival night, at 7 o’clock on September 12th, 2011, the Communist Youth League of School of Architecture, as well as Students’ Union, organized a warm and lively Mid-Autumn party in the East Hall of Building 27 of School of Architecture. The participants are mainly freshmen.
An ancient saying goes that alone in a foreign land as a stranger, every festival he misses family. Therefore the significance of this event precisely was to make students at the beginning of university life first festival feel the warmth of homes, which also gave the students a good opportunity to know each other. Decorated with a variety of very warmth, the East Hall wears a dialect puzzle all panels riddle, so that students from all over the country. The atmosphere, needless to say, at the beginning of the activity is very active.
The host announced the party started at 7. Video and other traditional senior songs came first. Curious about the future of all learning and living, 2011 new students watched videos seriously. As the party carried on, Li Yuanjie, President of senior scene of School of Architecture Students’ Union host, appeared and brought the party atmosphere to a climax. Perfect expression to the new students in the greetings and good wishes, Li gave a solo, which ushered in a burst after burst of applause.
There are a lot of small games, such as guessing words, bending through rope, etc, which students are enthusiastic to participate. The new showed great enthusiasm in chatting to promote mutual understanding, while the scene of the brothers and sisters introduced actively the future learning and life, and students listened carefully to the experience of their predecessors.
Enjoying moon cakes is a natural and indispensable part of the Mid-Autumn party. The organizers sent the moon cakes to the scene of the students with various flavors so that students could enjoy the delicious with the programs. As the host announced the party ended, the students were reluctant to leave.
