近日,中国科协公布了2025年中国科协青年科技人才培育工程博士生专项计划入选人员名单,未来技术学院2024级博士研究生雷鑫入选。

中国科协青年科技人才培养工程博士生专项计划是中国科协整合政府和社会资源,面向广大青年科技人员实施的能力提升项目,旨在帮助入选对象深入体察中国国情、扩大专业视野、了解社会需求。支持对象为具有中国国籍的全日制在读博士研究生。
【学生简介】
雷鑫,华南理工大学未来技术学院2024级博士研究生,导师为蒋怀光教授、熊伟教授。研究方向为人工智能驱动的生物智造技术,聚焦于生物调控元件的智能设计、预测与优化,助力绿色制造与生命健康领域关键技术突破。已在Expert Systems with Applications、mSystems、IEEE Journal on Emerging and Selected Topics in Circuits and Systems、ACS Synthetic Biology、Neurocomputing、ISCAS等国际期刊及会议发表多篇论文,授权国家发明专利一项。曾获2023年硕士研究生国家奖学金、2024年北京理工大学优秀毕业生、2025年博士研究生国家奖学金等荣誉。

Recently, the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) announced the list of candidates selected for the 2025 Doctoral Program for Young Scientific Talent. Lei Xin, a first-year Ph.D. student (Class of 2024) from the School of Future Technology, is among the honorees.
[Program Overview]
The Doctoral Program for Young Scientific Talent is a capacity-building initiative implemented by CAST. By integrating governmental and social resources, it aims to support young Chinese scientists and technologists. The program seeks to help selected candidates gain a deeper understanding of China's national conditions, broaden their professional horizons, and better comprehend societal needs. The program supports full-time Ph.D. students with Chinese nationality.
[Student Profile]
Lei Xin is a first-year Ph.D. student (Class of 2024) at the School of Future Technology, South China University of Technology. His supervisors are Professor Huai-Guang Jiang and Professor Wei Xiong. His research focuses on AI-driven biosynthesis technology, specifically the intelligent design, prediction, and optimization of biological regulatory elements, aiming to facilitate breakthroughs in key technologies for green manufacturing and life health. He has published several papers in international journals and conferences, including Expert Systems with Applications, mSystems, IEEE Journal on Emerging and Selected Topics in Circuits and Systems, ACS Synthetic Biology, Neurocomputing, and ISCAS, and holds one authorized national invention patent. His honors include the 2023 National Scholarship for Master's Students, the 2024 Outstanding Graduate Award from Beijing Institute of Technology, and the 2025 National Scholarship for Ph.D. Students.
