Dr.Lisa Gao is an Associate Professor at the School of Hotel and TourismManagement at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She joined from the PennsylvaniaState University, where she earned her Ph.D. degree and served as aninstructor.
Dr.Gao conducts research in the area of consumer behavior and services marketingwith a specific interest in Corporate Social Responsibility issues in theservice industry. Her research is published intop-tier hospitality and business journals such as the International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journalof Hospitality & Tourism Research,International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, CornellHospitality Quarterly, Journalof Business Research and Journal of BusinessEthics.Dr.Gao also serves as an editorial board member and Special Issued Guest Editorfor Journal of Hospitality & TourismResearch, and as a reviewer for hospitality and tourism journals andconferences including Annals of Tourism Research, TourismManagement, International Journal ofHospitality Management, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management,Journal of Business Ethics, Cornell Hospitality Quarterly, ICHRIE, APacCHRIE,EuroCHRIE, Society for Consumer Psychology: SCP Conference, Annual GraduateEducation and Graduate Students Research Conference in Hospitality and Tourism among others. Dr. Gaoreceived the Annual ICHRIE Research Reports award at the Annual ICHRIEConference (2018) and the best paper award at the 22nd Annual GraduateEducation and Graduate Student Research Conference in Hospitality and Tourism(2017).
DrGao is CHE and CHIA. She teaches Services Marketing, Operation Management, Food& Beverage Management, and Consultancy Project subjects. She alsosupervises undergraduate, Master’s and PhD students’ thesis.
高怡幸博士毕业于宾夕法尼亚州立大学酒店与旅游管理学院,现任香港理工大学酒店及旅游业管理学院副教授。
高博士的研究方向是消费者行为和服务营销领域,特别关注服务行业的企业社会责任问题。她的研究成果发表在酒店和商业管理的顶级期刊上,如:《国际酒店管理期刊》、《酒店与旅游研究杂志》、《国际当代酒店管理杂志》、《康奈尔酒店季刊》、《商业研究杂志》和《商业道德杂志》。此外,高博士还担任《酒店与旅游研究杂志》的编委和客座主编,以及《旅游研究年鉴》、《旅游管理》、《国际酒店管理期刊》、《酒店与旅游研究期刊》、《商业伦理期刊》、《可持续发展期刊》、《康奈尔酒店季刊》、酒店与餐饮教育理事会、消费者心理学会、酒店及旅游业研究生教育与研究研讨会等酒店与商业期刊及会议的审稿人。她的论文曾获得酒店及旅游业研究生教育与研究研讨会和国际酒店与餐饮教育理事会最佳论文奖。
高博士是美国酒店住宿协会认证酒店管理教育者(CHE)和酒店行业分析认证分析师(CHIA)。她主要负责服教授务质量管理,咨询管理,餐饮管理,服务营销的硕士研究生课程。她同时是酒店及旅游业管理学院本科生荣誉论文,硕士论文,和博士生导师。

Experimentaldesign is one of the most important methodologies in consumer research. Themanipulation of independent variables allows researchers to make stronginferences about the causal chain of variables or events. This seminar willdiscuss the types of experimental design, the problems that need to be paidattention to, and the common problems and mistakes in the experimental design.It will also cover some case sharing on SSCI journal manuscript submission andreviewing.
实验法是消费者行为研究重要的研究方法之一。通过对变量的控制和测量,研究者可以对变量和事件的因果关系做出强有力的推断。本报告将讨论实验设计类型、实验法需要注意的问题、实验中容易遇到的问题、实验中容易犯的错误、以及SSCI期刊的投稿和审稿案例分享。
