Prof. Wu has solved many key problems that hinder the application of magnetoelectric nanocomposite thin films, making it possible to be used in devices such as magnetoelectric random access memory (MeRAM); he has realized the electrical readout of the magnetic properties of vdW antiferromagnetic semiconductor. At present, he has published more than 40 SCI papers in journals such as Nature Electronics, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Appl. Mater. & Interfaces, Physical Review Applied, Physical Review B, Applied Physics Letters, etc.

  • Research Interests

Novel physical effects in magnetic thin films/heterojunctions

Magnetoelectric/multiferroic thin films and their applications in information storage and sensing devices

Magnetic van der Waals (vdW) materials and spintronic/orbitronic devices
