Experimental quantum nanoscience using scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and electron spin resonance STM (ESR-STM) to investigate single atomic and molecular spins. Research emphasizes chemical modification of molecular spins, magnetic interactions in nanoscale surface structures, and quantum manipulation of single-molecule magnets for quantum information science.
