Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education officially announced the list of winners of the 2025 Guangdong Provincial (Higher Education) Excellent Teaching Achievement Awards. Our school's achievement, Innovation and Practice of the 'Three-Dimensional Linkage' Training System for Key Core Software Talents Oriented to National Strategies, won the first prize of provincial teaching achievements.

This achievement, led by Dean Cai Yi, is based on the strategic needs of the country for independent and controllable key core technologies. It closely focuses on the transformation goal of cultivating talents from general software talents to top-notch innovative talents in key core software. Relying on the foundation of the national first-class specialty construction in software engineering, it carries out systematic teaching reform. With improving the adaptation degree of industry and education, deepening collaborative education, and strengthening quality assurance as the three-dimensional core, the achievement has created a new paradigm for cultivating key core software talents with the linkage and mutual promotion of the three aspects through reconstructing the professional training program, implementing the three activation industry-education integration improvement plans with the industrial college as the carrier, and building the internal and external dual-cycle quality assurance mechanism led by engineering certification.

This achievement has previously been awarded the Special Prize for University-Level Teaching Achievements, with a significant radiating and leading role. Relevant reform experiences have been learned from and adopted by 6 sibling universities. Currently, this achievement has become a successful example for the cultivation of key core software talents in our province, providing solid talent support and practical paths for the high-quality development of the national software industry.
