Deng Zikun, Associate Professor (Tenure-Track), received his Ph.D. from the National Key Laboratory of Computer-Aided Design & Computer Graphics at Zhejiang University, under the supervision of Professor Wu Yingcai, a Changjiang Scholar of the Ministry of Education (https://person.zju.edu.cn/ycwu). He was a member of the ZJUIDG group (https://zjuidg.org/). Currently, his research interests focus on visualization and visual analytics, computer graphics, artificial intelligence, data mining, as well as the application of related technologies in digital twins, Industry 4.0, and smart cities. In the past five years, he has published more than 10 papers in top-tier journals and conferences in the fields of computer science and software engineering, such as IEEE VIS, ACM CHI, IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics (abbreviated as IEEE TVCG, the only flagship journal in the field of visualization, CCF-A class, JCR-Q1), IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, and Computational Visual Media. He has also been granted 6 national invention patents. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for academic journals and conferences such as IEEE VIS, ACM CHI, PacificVis, IEEE TVCG, and ChinaVis.
