
Ying Weiqin is an associate professor and master tutor. He mainly engages in evolutionary computation, parallel computing and artificial intelligence including the design and analysis of multi-objective evolutionary algorithms and their applications, the design and implementation of parallel distributed evolutionary algorithms, the application of deep learning and evolutionary computing in computer games, etc.. He was selected as the Guangzhou Zhujiang Technology Star in 2014 and has hosted more than 10 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province and the Guangzhou Science and Technology Plan. He has published more than 20 papers and his main research results were published in Soft Computing, "Journal of Computer Science" and other domestic and foreign academic journals. He was authorized one invention patents and more than 20 software copyrights.

Research Direction:intelligent computing, multi-objective optimization, neural architecture search, etc. This encompasses the design of learning-guided efficient decomposed multi-objective evolutionary algorithms and their applications in community detection, sensor networks, and other fields; as well as multi-objective evolutionary search methods for neural architectures of deep neural networks and their applications.
