
Prof. Yang Xiaowei, doctoral tutor, received a bachelor's degree in theoretical and applied mechanics, a master's degree in computational mechanics and a doctorate in solid mechanics from the Department of Mathematics, Mathematics and Engineering Mechanics of Jilin University, in 1991, 1996 and 2000 respectively. He mainly researched on machine learning and pattern recognition, and has published more than 100 papers in domestic and international journals and academic conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, etc., which have been cited by domestic and foreign counterparts for more than 2,300 times. Moreover, he has instructed more than 60 academic masters and doctor, one of whom won the National Excellent Youth Prize, four obtained the Guangdong Outstanding Youth Prize, and one obtained the Pearl River Youth Prize.
