
Tang Deyou is a Ph.D. and Associate Professor. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Hunan University in 1997 and 2004 and received his Ph.D. in engineering from South China University of Technology in 2007. He mainly engaged in high performance computing, bioinformatics and big data and was especially interested in research and development of high performance algorithms and computational tools for bioscientific big data. He has presided or participated in more than 30 projects at the national, provincial and municipal levels, published more than 30 papers, applied for six invention patents and obtained more than 20 software copyrights. He focus on the cultivation of students' engineering ability and has rich experience in parallel program optimization, data origination systems and distributed systems.
