Prof. Wang Zhenyu, doctoral tutor of School of Software Engineering, South China University of Technology, consultant for Guangzhou Government’s decision, member of Chinese Information Processing Society of China, director of Guangdong Social Media Processing Engineering Center. He researches on cloud computing, big data processing, text mining, and social network analysis, on which he has extensive practical experience. And he has worked and researched in SCUT since May, 2004. In recent years, he has completed 2 sub-projects on core electronic devices, high-end general chips and basic software of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, a national “242 project”, a major sub-project of “Chinese Character Library”, and more than 20 national, provincial and municipal key projects. Moreover, he has published more than 80 papers, 30 of which have been included in SCI/EI, won Excellent Teacher Award of the Cooperative Project of IBM and Ministry of Education University for many times, and guided students to win the first and second prizes of the IBM National Competition for many times.
