Bioinformatics, Large-scale Data Analysis, Database and Data mining.

Dr. Fang received the Doctor's degree from the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). After graduation, she worked as a post-doctoral researcher in the CSE department at HKUST. She joined the School of Software Engineering at SCUT on September 2015, funded by the High-Level Talents Recruitment Program of SCUT. Qiong's research interests are Bioinformatics, Large-scale Data Analysis, Database and Data Mining. Her research work was published in top database and data mining conferences such as SIGKDD, SIGMOD, VLDB, ICDM, DASFAA, and top journals such as ACM TODS, IEEE TKDE, KAIS and etc.
