Last September,30 students entered the first SMAE's mechanic innovation class.Leaders of both SCUT and SMEA attached great importance to the students' virtue, study and life. The leaders also took many new measures to provide facilities for the students' professional courses study.
   Tutorial system will be adopted in mechanic innovation class since this year,so that every student will have his own tutor, who will develop the students' interests in their study fields.
   The SMAE is also going to orgnize the students to visit fatories, join in the laboratories' research project, which makes the students get familiar with their own fields and plan their university life better.
   Up to now, for the care of the leaders and the teachers' concern, many achievements have been made: thirteen of the stuents has been in the Party training and 31.46% of them do excellently ; many students win prize in the SCUT's entertainment and sports games.
