time: 2015-07-20

In China, Tomb-sweeping Day is for people to cherish the memory of the ancestry. During Tomb-sweeping festival, people always sweep the graves. On April the 3rd, students from SMAE went to the martyrs park by metro to cherish the martyrs who sacrificed in Guangzhou Uprising which was one of the marks of the revolution in China. In the uprising, the people paid heavy price and many people sacrificed.
The sky was gray, and the air was fresh in the park. There, a teacher gave us a brief introduction of Guangzhou Uprising. After that each of us presented a bouquet to the martyrs before the monument. At last, everyone paid a three-minute silent tribute to the martyrs. By this activity, we learned the history of Guangzhou Uprising and our sense of patriotism grow stronger.
