On September 16th, the second "Ling Feng Cup" three-dimensional kitchen unit design competition on-site reply and the award ceremony was held in YiFu Humanities Building of South China university of technology. The creative works of our students won bursts of applause on the spot. Liu Zejiang ,the deputy party secretary of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering and the person in charge of Ling Feng Group presented at the ceremony。
      That day，11 teams qualified for reply qualification needed to explain works design concept in five minutes, and accepted on-the-spot questions. In reply works, there were  a creative "Booking automatic put-down rice electric pressure cooker"， humanism care of the "blind special bottle"，a humorous name but very practical 'no 'intimate' pot' , furthermore a veritable "exquisite pot"，a variety of creative kitchen design works were highly commended.
       After nearly two hours exciting competition, Based on design work and respondent effects, the judges finally assessed prize-winning works, and awarded bonus and prizes on the spot，the “No 'intimate' pot”won the first prize. Then, the Second "Ling Feng Cup" three-dimensional kitchen design competition came to an end..
       Players said, the tournament enhanced the student’s practical ability and innovation consciousness, theoretical knowledge they learned could be applied in production practice. Business representatives said, they hoped to strengthen school-enterprise cooperation through competition, and provide more stages for the students to show their design talent.   
       It is reported that the competition started in May this year with design concept of "Energy-saving, intelligent, creative", 106 teams after enterprise visit, professional training, initial assessment, modified work, review again, on-site reply and other sectors, through the layer upon layer selected, finally, about one-tenth of the team come into the final reply.
