The first national college students' mechanical product digital design competition" in Huazhong University of Science and Technology drop the curtain on April 17 .It was undertook by Mechanical Discipline Group of the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration  Center extended meeting. The three teams selected and guided by Mechanical Foundation National Teaching Demonstration Centre of SSCUT won two first prize and one second prize.
   This competition from the starting to the final last for six months. It appealed more than 100 teams from more than 30 universities including Huazhong university of science and technology, zhejiang university, nanjing university of aeronautics, xi'an jiaotong university to duck it out. It was known that  the theme of this competition is "develop the moon,explore of outer space"and the competitors should Complete the three-dimensional moon car design by Autodesk Inventor.The Contest is aimed to inspect students' design capacity and participants need not make the car real.So the students have to worry about "poorer" and "hero unwieldy", can enjoy the imaginations, design more high scientific and technological work. 
    In order to stand out  from over 100 teams in the preliminary and play in the finals , the teachers and students of  SSCUT works together and overcame all difficulties. The software was not familiar to them .therefore ,on the one hand the teachers led  students to learn the basic function by referencing to its own function tutorial ,on the other hand  they made use of the library and web to search all of the relevant books and materials .The teachers and students  digested and absorbed them day and night . Although materials for lunar design drawing were serious lack, the students took advantage of  their own knowledge, such as Mechanical Principle, skillfully by Chianlnfo, CNKIto achieve "curve save figure", and constantly innovate in preciously existing design , consequently they designed the "six foot bionic robot", "wheel legged slider-crank lunar project", "wide cold moon, car" which are full of design inspiration and infinite originality , and won in the competition.
