Professional Profile
Dr. Lu Yuanhang holds a Ph.D. in Communication from Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). Prior to joining the School of Journalism and Communication at South China University of Technology in September 2023, he served as:
· Postdoctoral Researcher at the Artificial Intelligence and Media Lab, HKBU
· Lecturer in both the School of Communication and the Institute for Research and Continuing Education, HKBU
· Lecturer in the School of Communication at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong
His research interests span computational communication, political communication, and crisis communication. His scholarly work has appeared in leading journals including The International Journal of Press/Politics, Telecommunications Policy, Public Relations Review, and Chinese Journal of Communication. In recognition of his doctoral research, Dr. Lu received the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award from the Chinese
