Professional Profile

Mr. Ming Zongfeng’s research expertise centers on internet communication. In 2007, he established the first national website dedicated to combating harmful online games. His work has been featured by numerous media outlets, including Yangcheng Evening News, Shenzhen Evening News, China Central Television (CCTV), Xinhua News Agency, Guangming Daily, People’s Daily, and the Shanghai International Financial Times. One of his articles, published in Guangming Daily—“A University Teacher’s Appeal: Harmful Online Games Are Spiritual Opium”—was submitted as an internal report to Zhongnanhai, drawing comments from three central government leaders, including Hu Jintao and Li Changchun.

To promote a healthy internet culture, Mr. Ming planned and organized the National University Green Game and Animation Design Competition in 2010, an event that has now been held three times. The competition has received widespread media attention from over 50 outlets such as CCTV, Beijing Television, and China Youth Daily, as well as strong support from the Ministry of Culture and the Communist Youth League of China. Since 2011, Mr. Ming has successfully hosted the “Game Culture and Ethics” International Forum in Shanghai four times, raising significant international awareness. He has published dozens of articles in media outlets such as Guangming Daily, International Financial Times, Communist Youth League, Information Times, China Youth Network, and People’s Daily Online.
