Liu Xingdong, male, holds a PhD in Literature. He graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Sun Yat-sen University and is currently a lecturer at the School of Journalism and Communication, South China University of Technology. His research focuses on cultural (artistic) communication, film and television aesthetics, regional culture, and folk culture. In recent years, he has published numerous papers in important journals such as Cultural Heritage, Southern Literary Forum, and Folk Culture Forum. He teaches graduate courses including Selected Topics in Sociology, Hot Issues in Contemporary Aesthetic Culture, and Selected Topics in Folk Culture; and undergraduate courses including Basic University Writing, University Chinese, Sociology, Public Relations, and Lingnan Culture.
