Conversation with AI | Activities on the application scenarios development of AI digital human and intelligent experiment attract students

In the afternoon of November 28, the School of Journalism and Communication of South China University of Technology (SCUT), together with DENTSU CREATIVE team, conducted the “AI Digital Human Application Scenarios Innovation Development and Intelligent Experiment” in the school’s library. It explored the user experience of the application innovation of AI digital human with the areas of School education and career guidance.

The vice dean Zhang Qingyuan served as the event’s host and invited DENTSU CREATIVE’s Creative Technical Director Chen Yuhang, Art Director Hu Mengdian, School Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Liu Tao, Undergraduate Counselor Huang Siyin, and several student representatives.

Deputy Secretary Liu Tao began by expressing gratitude to the DENTSU CREATIVE Team for their visit and support. He then discussed the opportunities and difficulties that exist today for fostering School students in light of the current trend in artificial intelligence development. Finally, he anticipated the future role that AI will play in higher education, career planning, and many other areas.

Whereafter, the DENTSU CREATIVE Team engaged with students on-site, gave a detailed demonstration of the function of LucieZ, a digital person, and presented the DENTSU CREATIVE’s overview, creative vision, and innovative solutions.

The digital human LucieZ is designed by the Dentsu Next Team specifically for School life. LucieZ can be customized to be a study partner and lecturer assistant, follow-up on projects and assignments, as well as a career mentor through a range of workflow customization, including personality, visual template design, sound design, and the customization of unique skills and creative ideas.

During the experiential learning session, the students engaged in a constructive conversation with LucieZ regarding the challenges associated with studying and job searching. In subsequent interviews, they conveyed their gratitude and validation for the functions and services of digital humans.

The School of Journalism and Communication will keep up close communication and broad collaboration with the DENTSU CREATIVE in the future. The Dentsu Next team is anticipated to release a LIVE online version of AI Lucie for universities before the end of this year.
